Faculty-internal committees
- Faculty Council
- The Faculty Council is the highest authority in the faculty. Everything that is developed in committees (e.g. your study regulations) must be approved there in order to come into effect. The Faculty Council also appoints the members of the individual committees. The Faculty Council consists of 7 professors, 2 technical and administrative staff members, 2 academic staff members and 2 students. You can elect the latter and two deputies annually. The Faculty Council is chaired by the Dean.

- Each subject is also represented by a subject group spokesperson.
The FG Mathematics and the FG Computer Science meet regularly. The FG Data Science meetings take place irregularly. - Study Commission (StuKo)
- The study commission discusses things that affect the course of study. This concerns regulations but also the use of tuition fees. This is the only commission in which students are not in the minority: members are 4 students, 2 professors, 1 academic staff member, and 1 staff member from technology and administration. The chair is the dean of studies.
